Sang on Saturday, 17 October 1981, at the Donaueschingen Music Days in Germany, one of the oldest festivals of new music, in Mathias Rüegg’s “Jonny tritt ab” with the Vienna Art Orchestra, the Viennese jazz big band, alongside Lauren Newton and Maggie Nicols (SWF Jazz Session); Pepl played guitar.
Norwegian jazz singer, born in 1937 in Oslo; she gained international recognition as early as the mid-1960s and also turned to free jazz and avant-garde concert music.
