He met Pepl on the trip to the festival “Beyond the Sound of Music: New Austria/New York” in 1985, where both performed, and afterwards played pieces by Pepl, among them “Das Auge des Maulwurfs” on the piano at the Vienna Konzerthaus. At a Jazzzwio concert he read from his texts during the interval.
Austrian composer and pianist (1935 to 2006), a border-crosser between new music, language and theatre, known for example for the television opera “Staatsoperette”.
