The String Summit
New Jazz Meeting Baden-Baden 1980
Line-up assembled at the New Jazz Meeting Baden-Baden (24 to 28 November 1980) under Joachim-Ernst Berendt, with violins, two guitars, cello, two basses, piano, trumpet and two drummers.
Harry Pepl Guitarist
Pepl can be heard on four pieces of the album “One World In Eight”, one of them in a duo with Wolfgang Dauner: “Hargang”. His piece “Radlbremser” proved too difficult for the ensemble; he later played it with Air Mail.
