According to Heckel, the harmonies were inspired by “Every Breath You Take” (Police); the melody becomes increasingly chromatic, and the left hand plays parallel-shifted perfect-fifth arpeggios. A stylistic analysis with transcription can be found in Haudej (1999, pp. 23 to 27). At the tribute evening in Graz in 2006, the piece was the occasion for a solo by Clemens Wenger.
