In 1988 Pepl invited Josef Pitzek to Hernstein and played the piece to him. Ensemble Wien performed it in the Brahmssaal in 1989; the same programme booklet wrongly calls Pepl a „Tiroler Gitarristen“ [“Tyrolean guitarist”].
