On Saturday, 27 September 1986, one evening after Air Mail, Pepl plays at the same festival at the Şan Tiyatrosu in Istanbul, Turkey, at 11 pm in the quintet of Dino Saluzzi and Enrico Rava, with Furio Di Castri (double bass) and Bruce Ditmas (drums). It is the earliest documented concert of the quintet with Pepl so far, before the recording of “Volver” in October 1986.
