The quintet on stage in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1986, with a white grand piano in the background. Another person stands at the left edge of the picture; next to them, from left: Harry Pepl seated with his guitar, Enrico Rava standing, Dino Saluzzi seated in front with the bandoneon, Bruce Ditmas on drums and Furio Di Castri on double bass. The names follow from the instruments of the line-up. One concert by the quintet in Istanbul is documented for 1986: on Saturday, 27 September 1986, at the 2nd International Bilsak Jazz Festival at the Şan Tiyatrosu, with Rava, Pepl, Saluzzi, Di Castri and Ditmas. The photo comes from the collection of Furio Di Castri, who received it from a friend in Istanbul; the photographer is not known.
