Portrait of the music journalist Christian Rösner. He recalls that after school he wanted to study jazz guitar in Graz because everyone was talking about Pepl at the time, and that from 1996 onwards he and Georg Friesenbichler sampled Pepl’s recordings and laid grooves under them.
