CD review of an album by the Schwarzenberg Trio with piano trios by Beethoven, Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Werner Pirchner. Irrgeher introduces Pirchner as the vibraphonist who shook up the jazz world with Harry Pepl, as far as the Montreux festival, and discusses his trio “Heimat?”.
