In this method my musical aesthetic is expressed very clearly, an aesthetic that attaches decisive importance to the unrepeatable moment in which the sound is produced. On his Instant Composing, quoted in the Kronen Zeitung (Austria’s largest-circulation daily) in its preview of the world premiere of his pieces for string quartet by the Kronos Quartet at the Orpheum in Graz, December 1991.
