Duo partner in Jazzzwio, member of Austria Drei, fellow musician in The Loss, Omnibus and Schattseite, and member of the ECM (the renowned European jazz label) trio with Jack DeJohnette. A close friend of Pepl’s; the families went on holiday together. Godfather to Daniel Pepl.
Tyrolean vibraphonist and composer (1940 to August 2001), later active mainly as a composer.
